This is a cover album of Animal Collective's Strawberry Jam. I read somewhere that Panda Bear was inspired to make the album after looking at a single-serving of strawberry jam while on an airplane and thinking to himself, "I wonder what music would sound the way this looks." The idea behind this synth-pop-y cover album came from looking at my cafeteria's tub of strawberry yogurt sometime after reading that back in 2010.
